Sodium Xylene Sulfonate 90% (SXS 90%) is a concentrated powder-form hydrotrope containing approximately 90% active sodium xylenesulfonate. It functions as a coupling agent, solubiliser, viscosity reducer, and cloud point depressant in surfactant-based formulations. SXS 90% is widely used in liquid detergent manufacturing, industrial and institutional cleaners, and personal care products to prevent phase separation, reduce gel formation, and maintain product clarity at high surfactant concentrations. It is biodegradable, non-toxic at use concentrations, and compatible with anionic, nonionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactant systems.
